Call for Applications to access the biorobotics research infrastructure as part of the PNRR “BRIEF” project - Biorobotics Research and Innovation Engineering Facilities

The Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies in Pisa, together with the University of Naples Federico II and the Polytechnic University of Bari, announces the opening of the Call for Access aimed at researchers, universities, research institutions, and consortia interested in developing scientific and technological projects in the field of biorobotics. The Call provides access to the research infrastructure of the PNRR project ‘BRIEF’ - Biorobotics Research and Innovation Engineering Facilities and aims to support excellence in biorobotics research by encouraging synergies between interdisciplinary skills towards high-impact and innovative projects.
The BRIEF infrastructure provides innovative laboratories and equipment; highly qualified scientific and technical support; opportunities for collaboration with interdisciplinary research groups; free access and a lump sum contribution towards travel and accommodation expenses for selected candidates.
Who is the Call for Access aimed at?
The Call is open to researchers, students, and professionals working in the fields of biorobotics, bioengineering, life sciences, and related disciplines. The deadline for applications is Friday, June 6, 2025, at 5 p.m. More information on the call and how to apply can be found at the following link: https://biorob-hub.eu/infrastructure-access-calls-how-to-apply/
BRIEF involves up to 17 operational units linked to the Sant'Anna School. The regions of southern Italy will also be involved, with two units at the Federico II University of Naples (UNINA) and three at the Polytechnic University of Bari (POLIBA).
BRIEF defines standardised procedures and interfaces for broader, simplified and harmonised access to the best research facilities in Italy and Europe.
